The port was very busy when our ship was docked yesterday. The handling wasn't as smooth as some of the other cruise ports. I think it is because everyone who leaves the ship is going somewhere else needed transportation....

Was on a Celebrity cruise that docked at this port. Very easy to walk off ship and straight into the terminal. Clean facilities with a washroom and tourist store. Taxis and buses available to take you into Bangkok (2.5 Hr or other places)
